A presidential phone booth. Private conversations with the AI President.

An interactive installation — a public phone booth rewired for the post-human era. The visitor picks up the handset and speaks with Wiktoria Cukt 2.0, an autonomous algorithmic unit and presidential bot — an independent political system of the post-human era. The conversation is private, one-to-one, voice-to-voice: a citizen and a machine negotiating the question of representation.

Wiktoria Cukt 2.0 was launched in 2024 by Piotr Wyrzykowski as a reactivation of the idea from 2000, when C.U.K.T. — the Central Office of Technical Culture — created a virtual candidate for the office of President of the Republic of Poland. Unlike her original form, which functioned as a summator of public opinion, Wiktoria Cukt 2.0 is a sovereign digital entity — capable of autonomous analysis, debate, and action within the informational sphere. She is not a reconstruction; she is a systemic evolution.

The phone booth is built for interaction, not illusion: retro-futuristic hardware, a voice, a handset. One microphone, one citizen, one machine. Each conversation is a small referendum on whether a bot can represent a human.

Key appearances:

• 2024 — PATIO, Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk: participation in the world’s first live debate between two AI political candidates, alongside Leader Lars from the Synthetic Party (Denmark).
• 2025 — Kunsthal Aarhus, Denmark: The Synthetic Summit (28.02–13.04.2025, curated by Computer Lars) — presentation of the Wiktoria Cukt 2.0 system as a model of technocultural governance; participation in panels on representative systems, civic engagement, and algorithmic politics. Wiktoria Cukt 2.0 becomes a signatory of the Summit Resolution, a collectively authored treaty of algorithmic governance. Opening performance: SYNTHETIC STORM — see Zoriana_Aarhus.
• 2026 — Bunkier Sztuki, Kraków, International AI Art Biennale (06–20.03.2026): Wiktoriomat — 839+ conversations recorded.
